HS2 Phase 1

High Speed 2 (HS2) Phase 1 represents the most ambitious rail infrastructure project undertaken in the UK, aiming to connect London and Birmingham with a new high-speed railway. The project's scale—encompassing 64 miles of tunnels, 500 bridges, 70 cuttings, and 50 viaducts—posed significant challenges in terms of procurement, cost management, and supply chain coordination. Ensuring value for money, maintaining schedule integrity, and managing risks across such a vast and complex programme required robust commercial oversight and strategic planning.

G&T is providing a suite of services tailored to meet the project's multifaceted challenges. Our role encompasses Supply Chain & Supplier Relationship Management, Post Contract Cost Management, Procurement Support Services, Commercial Review and Assurance, Benchmarking, and Business Case Support.
