G&T Tees Off

G&T employees took to the course to take part in a G&T Golf Day held at Aldenham Golf Club.

On a breezy Saturday morning, G&T employees gathered on the putting green to get in some last minute practise before heading out onto the golf course. Rivalry was fierce between the teams, with the defending champion, Mesam Chohan, setting the pace in the first group.

The course suited a shorter game, giving everyone a chance to go for victory. At the halfway house the scores were tied and after a slow start the round picked up the pace down the back nine, with everyone meeting on the 18th green to watch the final group come in.

Congratulations to G&T Associate, Kevin Newton, who took home the coveted trophy and a score of 40 off 19, followed by Jake Burgoine who came a very close second and Jamie McCracken at third. Other prize winners on the day included Jamie McCracken taking both nearest the pin and nearest the pin in two, as well as Stuart Le Boutiller winning longest drive.
