We assist the procurement team in contractor selection, pre-qualification questionnaires, tender documents, tender assessments and contract documentation.  We work with project teams to produce contract strategies and act as the commercial manager to the BP project managers, advising on any commercial issues that may arise.

As part of this role we manage the costs throughout the project duration, paying attention to all elements of the project budget including the contract costs (civils, mechanical, electrical, scaffolding, lifting and controls), the consultants' costs and the BP engineering team.

We provide similar services when a plant has come to the end of its useful life in terms of its decommissioning and demolition and the land clearance, especially if the area is to be used for another facility.

Our team also provides cost assurance services on the maintenance contract and when a shutdown is required.  This covers all elements of works required at the chemicals park.
