Ellipta Phase 2
Following Phase 1 of the programme, G&T was appointed to provide Cost Management, Integrated Schedule Management, Risk Management, Change Management and Project & Progress Reporting services for a £56m three-storey manufacturing facility for the Ellipta Inhaler system.
The facility included a new 4,500m² extension capable of accommodating an assembly and packing line, dedicated laboratory, material loading/unloading systems attached to an existing facility, along with development of plant and services.
Our team provided project controls support involving the creation and maintenance of the master schedule, estimate development, funding application support, cost management, change and risk management along with the preparation of monthly reports.
We undertook regular audits and forensic schedule analysis of the main construction contractor programme of works and integration with critical process equipment commissioning and validation activity to ensure that sufficient capacity was in place to meet market demand and to achieve launch dates in multiple global markets.
