Gateshead Trinity Square

The scheme comprised the demolition and redevelopment of an existing shopping and leisure complex in Gateshead Town Centre.

Trinity Square is now home to one of the largest Tesco Extra stores in the country and includes associated undercroft car park, a 933 bed dedicated student village for Northumbria University, various retail outlets, offices and primary care centre.

A new contemporary public square was also constructed which features the 27ft sculpture "Halo" by artist Stephen Newby.
