Knickerbocker Hotel

Knickerbocker Hotel

Designed by Gabellini Sheppard in conjunction with Peter Poon Architects, the original Beaux-Arts exterior has been preserved with the Knickerbocker now boasting 330 rooms and suites together with a 120-seat Charlie Palmer restaurant, as well as a grand bar, event space and fitness centre.

There is also a roof top bar and lounge with an outdoor wrap-around terrace giving spectacular views of Times Square and the famous Times Square Ball.

Built in 1906 by John Jacob Astor IV, the Knickerbocker was the place to be in the early years of the 20th Century until Prohibition cut into its business and the property was converted into offices in 1921. The building was designated as a New York City Landmark in 1988.
