Little Island

Little Island represents a shift in marine engineering and building on the water. 132 pot-shaped caps set on concrete piles of varying heights will create a new three-acre waterfront parkland constructed along New York City’s west side.
Alongside visitors being able to enjoy the lawns, paths and hills of the park, there will also be areas for community events such as shows and concerts together with education programs. Access to the new island will be via elevated walkways.
G&T was appointed in 2017 and is providing Cost Management, Project Management and Cost Estimating services as well as acting as the Owner’s Representative. The development is scheduled for completion in 2021.
