Liverpool Cruise Terminal Facility
G&T was appointed on a new £50m Cruise Terminal Facility on the River Mersey to cater for Liverpool's growing appeal in the cruise industry, which will allow the city to welcome the world’s biggest cruise ships.
The new state of the art passenger and baggage facility will also include passport control, lounge, café, toilets, taxi rank and vehicle pick up point.
The multi-disciplinary design team, led by Ramboll, includes architects Stride Treglown, global planning and property consultants JLL and landscape architects Hyland Edgar Driver.
Planning approval was secured in April 2018.
G&T supported the client in the evaluation of First Stage tenders, and the Council has appointed a contractor for the pre-construction services. The main construction works are expected to commence later this year.
