McCann Worldgroup’s relocation to 135 Bishopsgate brought together all of its UK agencies under one roof for the first time in the organisation’s history.
The Gensler-led design is characterised by an abundance of client-facing feature space including a central atrium connecting all floors, an extensive terrace and an eclectic mix of pitch settings.
G&T delivered the project under a bespoke turnkey arrangement where the developer acted as the employer under the fit-out contract. This innovative arrangement was developed and adjusted for the UK by the G&T team and used an ethical wall between the developer and tenant delivery teams with a carved up set of roles and responsibilities – the developer’s team acted as contract administrators and the tenant’s team managed the design work stream.
Practical Completion for the project was granted in summer 2020.
