Meadowbank Sports Centre
Meadowbank Sports Centre forms part of the redevelopment of the Meadowbank area, bringing enhanced physical, mental and social benefits to the city.
The new 15,000m² venue is the full rebuild of an iconic community leisure facility and caters for a variety of sports and activities, with significant external space used for training and sporting events. Facilities include bespoke fitness suites, various multi-use rooms, two large games halls with a combined capacity for over 1,500 spectators, indoor athletics halls and large gymnasium, along with changing rooms, office facilities and café.
A new FIFA pro pitch compliant with SPFL requirements and seating for 500 spectators will be included as part of the redevelopment, together with full refurbishment and resurfacing of the iconic running track, new field athletics facilities and 3G pitch.
