Olympic Legacy Masterplan
G&T has provided Cost Consultancy services to London Legacy Development Corporation which is responsible, along with a number of partners, for the transformation of the Olympic Park after the 2012 Games.
The objective is to create a legacy of high quality mixed-use developments within the Olympic Park site, offering housing, employment space, community infrastructure, water space, parkland and sporting facilities to local people and visitors. The site offers the chance to build sustainable communities, and deliver a sporting and cultural legacy.
G&T assisted the LLDC in the assessment and evaluation of potential legacy conversion options which included the assessment of both capital costs and FM/LCC costs to help establish the optimum business case with long term sustainability. Bespoke cost and FM/LCC models were developed for the stadium to support options analysis and business case development.
The Strategic Asset & Facilities Management Consultancy team supported the client through the procurement of the Stadium Operator and also carried out a review of their FM contract for the management of the Queen Elizabeth Park to enable the renegotiation of this contract with their service provider.
