Prestwick Educational Campus
Running purely on electric power through the installation of solar roof panels and air source heat pumps, the new Prestwick Educational Campus provides 22 classrooms and multi-purpose rooms over two storeys together with a sports hall and Early Years centre.
Developed on the Glenburn Primary School site, the new campus accommodates pupils from the existing Glenburn Primary School and St Ninian's Primary School, whilst offering new Early Years provisions.
An outdoor all-weather pitch, along with an allotment, sensory garden and willow garden, open to pupils and children from the local community is being delivered as part of the Phase 2 works.
This project is one of a range of new build schools delivered for hubSW and South Ayrshire Council along with Ayr Academy, Ayr Grammar, Marr College, Maybole Community Campus and Queen Margaret Academy.
