Project AXIOS
As part of the Unity framework with the MoD, G&T was engaged to assist Army Commercial with the delivery of Project AXIOS which provides a synthetic teaching and training solution for Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for trial use at the University Officer Training Corps (UOTCs) – bringing elements of field training into the classroom.
Our services enable the successful delivery of complex projects at all stages of the project life cycle, helping clients maximise budgets and best-in-class commercial outcomes whilst delivering value for money for the UK taxpayer.
G&T provided surge commercial resource to lead the procurement activity for Project Axios. This project enabled better use of limited training time and resources with centralised lesson delivery using a synthetic environment as a visual aid.
Through engagement and collaboration with all stakeholders as well as its experience in commercial practices, G&T helped drive the project towards successful contract award before the deadline, enabling the Army to improve its training whilst reducing costs and resource demand.
