Twickenham Stadium Asset Replacement Planning
Following completion of the Twickenham East Stand development where G&T provided Cost Management services, we were engaged by the RFU to provide life cycle costs and asset replacement plans for the new stand to enable them to plan for future costs and forecasts for future asset replacement for the next 120 years.
For the RFU the ability to understand the current and future costs for its single most-important building is essential to ensure assets are actively managed to ensure the longevity and quality of the stadium.
G&T developed a dynamic asset planning tool to allow future costs to be mapped and planned as well as individual building assets and elements to be tracked within their financial system in a consistent manner. The model not only provides a plan for a single point in time, it can also be updated to track asset replacements and costs annually.
