XYZ Building
The XYZ Building represents a step change in the development of flexible working.
Designed by Cartwright Pickard and providing 20,000 sq ft open floorplates with 4m clear height construction, the building design encourages sustainable travel with extensive cycle parking and a cycle ramp giving direct access to the basement changing rooms and gym. The roof terraces, coffee shop and flexible lobby area will encourage collaborative working for today's businesses.
The building has been constructed on a congested city centre site making this a logistically challenging project, particularly given the need to excavate two floors to provide plant space and communal facilities as well as maintaining continuous access to the Civil Justice Centre, with only one route available in and out of the site.
The building has achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
