G&T celebrates topping out at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises
The ceremony marked the completion of the structural steel installation and included over 300 construction personnel currently working on site. The project is projected to be completed at the end of 2017.
The project includes the design, construction, migration and occupancy of a new 475,000 sf production center and HQ facility situated on a 21 acre greenfield site. The facility will contain 13 studios equipped with state-of-the-art production technology, office space for over 1300 employees, cafeteria and other amenities; the project also includes plans for a 100,000 sf scenic shop and warehouse. The subsequent decommission, restoration and disposition of existing facilities also forms part of the development.
G&T is providing full project management and cost management services on this $250+ million project, which spans from 2015 through to 2018.
