G&T continues its NextGen initiative

G&T has announced it will continue its successful NextGen programme in 2018, including key collaborations with the London Real Estate Forum (LREF) and New London Architecture (NLA).

This initiative aims to identify and encourage the built environment’s future leaders within G&T and develop their networks within the wider industry. The continuation of these collaborations follows the success of the 2017 programmes, which included sector specific Pecha Kuchas, multi-disciplinary speed mentoring evenings and hot topic roundtables.

"Bringing together emerging talent and established professionals to share ideas and debate the issues at the heart of the property and construction sector today is a great way to succession plan for the future."

Progression is at the heart of G&T and is one of the firm’s core values. The NextGen programme helps to develop the firm’s ever evolving workforce alongside like-minded individuals from across the industry.

Collaborations with LREF and NLA add further to benefits of the programme and provide a variety of events and opportunities for next gen individuals to debate key issues and make important contacts which will help to build their careers and professional networks. It also gives them contact with established professionals at some of the industry’s most prestigious events which facilitates invaluable knowledge sharing across the generations.

G&T partner and NextGen champion, Adam Glover, commented:

“Sponsoring LREF’s NextGen reception and roundtable and the NLA NextGen programme for 2018 allows us to show our support for the next generation within G&T and the property and construction industry as a whole.

Bringing together emerging talent and established professionals to share ideas and debate the issues at the heart of the property and construction sector today is a great way to succession plan for the future and ensure we are prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This helps us to create fulfilling careers for our people and to serve our clients to the highest standards both now and in the future.”
