G&T Surveyor is Youngest Qualified MRICS
G&T Project Surveyor, Uwais Paderwala, is the youngest qualified MRICS, having passed his APC in November last year.
Uwais joined G&T in September 2011, through the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust (CSTT) as an Apprentice.
As part of the G&T Apprenticeship Scheme he attended college for two years before starting a university course one day a week. After achieving his degree, Uwais went on to pass his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in November 2017.
Working across multiple sectors of the built environment including Retail, and Commercial, Uwais has gained valuable experience learning how to balance his project based work alongside his studies for the past seven years.
Uwais has worked closely with the RICS since 2015, helping to promote the apprenticeships and training opportunities that can be found across the built environment.
