G&T Surveyor named RICS Apprentice of the Year
RICS Young Surveyor of the Year Awards 2019
Congratulations to G&T’s Uwais Paderwala, who was named Apprentice of the Year 2019 at the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year (YSOTY) awards last Friday.
Uwais joined G&T in 2011 as an apprentice, becoming a fully chartered surveyor after passing his APC last November. He is part of G&T’s NextGen and an advocate for the Apprenticeship Trailblazer in Quantity Surveying, often speaking at industry events on behalf of the scheme.

He was described by the RICS judges as ‘a role model for the profession who promotes the sector through his vibrant manner’.

This fantastic achievement was celebrated in style at the YSOTY awards dinner held last Friday evening, where G&T hosted a table with other young professionals.
Victoria Davoren, Senior People and Development Executive, described the night:
“The YSOTY awards night was a brilliant evening celebrating inspirational young professionals like Uwais. He is an asset to G&T and an example of what hard work and determination can bring. We are excited to see Uwais go from strength to strength as we continue supporting his professional journey.”
