G&T takes part in the JLL Triathlon 2019

As part of our ongoing social impact programme, G&T took part in JLL Property Triathlon and helped raise £221,000 for Crisis UK.

The one day event takes part in and around Dorney Lake, near Windsor and this year a staggering 22 people from G&T entered the competition.

“It was fantastic to see so many people from G&T put their athletic skills to the test against 3,750 other construction professionals where we helped to collectively raise £221,000 for Crisis UK.”

Chris Nicole, G&T Project Manager

The teams came home with a number of notable achievements, including Project Manager, Emma Scott-Miller, who completed her swim in 13:20 and was named the 5th fastest female swimmer of the day, Richard Applin’s relay triathlon team who were the 17th fastest team on the day and Charlie Noblet, who completed the individual triathlon in 1:19:24, coming 130th overall out of 955 competitors.

The JLL Property Triathlon is now firmly established as one of the largest property events in the UK and has raised over £2m to date for charity. Along with its sister event the Property Swim, the triathlon is a great way for people of different organisations, ages and abilities to come together and compete whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Crisis UK supports those who are homeless by working with landlords to ensure a supply of places to live and giving homeless people the tools and knowledge they need to rent successfully.

Congratulations to all involved.
