Planning permission granted for 63-65 Curzon Street
Planning permission has been granted for Maple Springfield’s 95,000 sq ft new build residential development in the heart of Mayfair.
The development aims to reconnect Mayfair’s green spaces of Green Park with Berkeley Square by replacing the existing 1980s office building with a new 95,000 sq ft scheme, featuring a new retail arcade connecting Stratton St to Curzon St between Green Park and Bond St tube stations.
The project will involve a new 12,000 sq ft retail arcade, 42 high-end apartments and three basement levels. The new building will include limestone front and rear facades to ensure it remains in keeping with the surrounding area. The two main passenger lifts will be contained within a fully glazed lift shaft, together with a glazed roof light.
The scheme was submitted for planning back in December 2018 and received the green light earlier this week. Work is due to commence on site later this year.
G&T is providing both Cost and Project Management services on this exciting new development.
