Eden Nuclear and Environment Consortium awarded place on NDA's Direct Research Portfolio

G&T is proud to be part of the Eden Nuclear and Environment consortium which has recently been awarded a place on the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's (NDA) Direct Research Portfolio (2020-2024) for "Integrated Waste Management, Site Decommissioning and Remediation" (IWM & SDR).

The Eden Nuclear and Environment team, which includes Cyclife, Golder, Hydrock, Integrated Decision Management (IDM), the University of Bristol and WSP, are looking forward to supporting NDA on this important Framework over the next four years.

G&T is providing Cost Management services to Eden Nuclear and Environment for the Framework.

The Framework Contract is intended to support the full scope of R&D to develop and implement the IWM & SDR strategies as outlined in the NDA Strategy. The topics covered include:

  • Integrated Waste Management - including waste management data and information, waste treatment and packaging, waste storage and waste disposal
  • Site Decommissioning and Remediation - including characterisation approaches and technologies, asset management, site end states, land quality management and land us
