The level of knowledge gained by the wider project team, acting as strategic delivery partner on two of the UK’s first commercial launch sites in Sutherland and Prestwick, offers a real insight into the challenges and opportunities that the new sector brings. G&T's respective roles on these programmes go beyond infrastructure delivery, capturing for example, airspace change and aerodrome licensing, marine licensing, environmental impact assessment, risk and safety assurance, security and regulatory activities. We are also engaged in space-cluster economic development and satellite HQ and manufacturing facilities. UKspace membership will provide the team with further opportunities to share lessons learned with the wider industry and affect real change.
“G&T is an invaluable and trusted partner as we rapidly progress towards the first ever orbital space launch from the United Kingdom. Successfully delivering a project of this ambition, scale and complexity needs a team who share our hunger to succeed for the country - Stuart and his team at G&T have gone above and beyond time and again.”Peter Guthrie
