On 12th March G&T will be attending the UK Infrastructure Show (UKIS), the annual event that brings together the UK’s largest infrastructure projects and programmes – covering sectors as diverse as transport, healthcare and local government.

During the conference being held at the NEC Birmingham, G&T partner Marisa Steyn will be delivering a keynote address ‘Beyond the Bottom Line’ – how benefits-led programmes create value for society.

Drawing from her and the wider team’s experience in infrastructure services, she will present an evolution of the traditional model and the benefits that this approach could bring to infrastructure projects. During her session, Marisa will address challenges faced, how to manage market forces, the importance of maintaining supply chain stability and much more.

Marisa Steyn
"I'm looking forward to speaking at UKIS, highlighting the importance of benefits-led programmes and how they create value for society. We'd love to keep the conversation going – come and see us on Stand A, next to the sustainability and social value hub."

Why is G&T speaking at UKIS?

The UK is building for a brighter future with an ambitious programme of major infrastructure projects and programmes across the country. Alongside this the concept of value for money is evolving in the construction industry, focusing on broader benefits and societal outcomes established in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies. Clients need to evolve their strategic ambitions while maintaining progress in project delivery and demonstrating the value generated. This makes UKIS the ideal space for G&T to discuss and share ideas on how to address these challenges.

Whilst Marisa Steyn will be the keynote speaker, she will be joined by the wider G&T infrastructure team including John Mead, Jason Fowler, Gary Wright, Alison Sudbury and Willem van Zyl

Come and meet the team and share ideas at Stand A, located by the Keynote Speaker stage, next to the sustainability and social value hub. To find out more about the conference and the conference agenda visit the UKIS conference here: Home - UKIS (ukinfrastructureshow.co.uk)
