Gary Wright

Gary is a Chartered Engineer with more than 25 years' experience in the procurement of complex infrastructure projects and programmes. He has developed and successfully implemented a range of innovative procurement and commercial strategies to support major infrastructure clients in the UK and Ireland including Crossrail Limited, HS2 Limited, National Highways, Network Rail, Department for Infrastructure (NI) and Transport Infrastructure Ireland.

Gary is the chair of the Institution of Civil Engineers’ (ICE) Procurement Advisory Group, which develops procurement best practice guidance and oversees the ICE's independent assurance panels for procurement. He was involved in the development of ‘early contractor involvement’ (ECI) in the UK and was a co-author of the NEC Contracts Board's guidance on ECI.
