Restoration and extension of Panmure House - former home of economist and author Adam Smith - making it a hub for learning and debate once again.
Located in the heart of Edinburgh's World Heritage Site, the Category A Listed building now provides an inspiring location for educational programmes, lectures and meetings as well as concerts, theatrical and cultural events.
The new contemporary extension, designed by EKJN Architects, comprises a new entrance foyer and interpretation space toplit by a glass roof. The existing building provides a state of the art learning facility with a reading room and lecture room.
