St James Quarter

The project involves the redevelopment of St James shopping centre and the former Scottish Office to create a new retail-led mixed-use landmark development, reaffirming Edinburgh as one of the major retail destinations in the UK.

The new 1,700,000 sq ft mixed-use development includes 80 new brands and an enticing mix of restaurants and bars, 152 new homes, a 244 bedroom 5* hotel, multi-screen cinema and 1,600 car parking spaces as well as the restoration of the historic St Andrews House and 27-31 James Craig Walk. The project creates a unified public realm space in St James Quarter linking together St Andrews House, Cathedral Square and James Craig Walk.
