A new church was required to meet the needs of a growing congregation and to improve the existing facilities.
The new building contains a large chapel and wake room, office, consultation room, vestry foyer and toilets while the existing chapel and adjacent buildings were retained and refurbished to provide a new community hall, children's centre/youth room, welfare facilities and office.
Full of eco-credentials, the new church is held up by both cross laminate timber panels with glulam beams - a design first for this type of building - with a new green 'Sedum' roof.
