A striking former cinema in the heart of Leeds City Centre is about to be transformed into super-prime office space with its iconic façade preserving the building’s original heritage.
The building will be a 66,000 sq ft business hub, offering class-leading Grade A office space, along with the potential for lively new leisure and cafe areas. Situated over seven levels, The Majestic will feature terraces on the fourth and fifth floors overlooking City Square, alongside a new domed circulatory space, re-creating the historic Palm Court, and a grand three-storey entrance atrium.

The building’s original façade will be carefully restored to an outstanding condition in consideration of the historic nature of the building, respecting and enhancing the building’s heritage significance.
G&T is acting as Employer’s Agent and Cost Manager on behalf of City Square Developments (CSD), part of the award-winning Leeds-based property development and investment group, Rushbond. G&T is also providing CDM services and supported CSD in the procurement of the contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine.
