G&T Take Home the Trophy
As England’s World Cup dreams came to an end, our hopes turned to the G&T football team to be victorious at the Property 5-a-side Tournament.
G&T’s second competition of the summer saw the football team defend their title at the Blaze Group Property 5-a-side Tournament. Pressure was high as the games commenced, seeing G&T scrape through to the knockouts with two wins, a draw and a loss.

The team came into their own in the Quarter Finals, with a touch of brilliance from goalkeeper Ashley Maddams, saving a crucial goal with his face to send G&T through to the next round.

With an easy 2-0 win in the Semi Finals against CBRE, the team was confident as they walked onto the pitch for the Final, knowing they had beaten their upcoming competitors, Devonshires, in an earlier round.
Tom Cannon added to his account with a long range effort that caught the keeper off guard, closely followed by a second goal from Tom O’Regan, closing the game out with a 2-0 G&T victory and taking home the silverware for the second year running.

The event supported LandAid, the property industry charity campaigning to end youth homelessness. G&T promotes Ethical Thinking throughout the firm, encouraging team sporting events to raise money for charities and important causes.
