The Castings, a 25-storey development in central Manchester, has reached practical completion.
G&T provided Cost Management services for the development which includes 352 studio, one, two and three-bed apartments, as well as generous amenities for residents including a gym, yoga room, games room and work hub. Additionally, there is 5,500 sq ft of external amenity space and a top floor roof terrace.
The ground floor hosts three retail and F&B units ranging from 400 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft fronting the public realm, and a new public square has been provided as part of the development.

The site was allocated through the strategic regeneration framework and provides much-needed multi-family rental housing to the area, which is within walking distance from Manchester Piccadilly station and the city centre.
Alexander Bassett, associate director at Packaged Living said: "Packaged Living is thrilled to announce the completion of the 'Castings', Manchester's latest purpose-built BtR development. The scheme is a fantastic showcase of what can be achieved when a proactive and supportive team works with a best-in-class developer and investment partner to achieve a significant regeneration of a redundant brownfield site. The scheme has been successfully managed through a changing external market to ensure delivery that hugely benefits the city."
Ben McCartney, G&T partner added: "We are delighted to see the successful completion of The Castings in central Manchester. This development not only provides much-needed rental housing but also enriches the local community with retail spaces and a new public square. It’s wonderful to have played part in turning this former brownfield site into a vibrant urban living space for the city of Manchester."
